Dr Themis Colla MBBS FACD is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
Dr Colla completed a 1 year fellowship with us at Perth Dermatology in 2024/2025.
She started her journey in medicine at the Catholic University of Pelotas, Brazil, earning her MBBS in 2002. Board certified by the College of Dermatologists in Brazil since 2009, her commitment to excellence led her to undertake further postgraduate training in dermatology overseas and in Australia. With over a decade of experience, Dr Colla founded and operated her own Dermatology Clinic, providing comprehensive care to the local community in Brazil. Her skills and passion for dermatology expanded during her tenure at the local hospital in the countryside, solidifying her commitment to patient well-being.
In 2020, Dr Colla made a significant move to Australia, where she joined Sinclair Dermatology in Melbourne for nearly three years, gaining significant experience in hair loss management and clinical trials. In October 2021, she succeeded in the MRCP(UK) – Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Dermatology and in 2025 became a Fellow of the Australian College of Dermatologists.
She has honed her expertise in various facets of dermatology over the years and has a broad interests in general dermatology. Her areas of expertise and interest include hair loss management, skin cancer surveillance, biologic and phototherapy treatment for psoriasis and atopic dermatitis and acne/rosacea management including isotretinoin.
Dr Colla is fluent in English and Portuguese.
