REFERRAL
A valid referral is required to see our dermatologists.
A referral from your general practitioner is valid for 1 year from your initial consultation date.
A referral from another specialist is valid for 3 months from your initial consultation date.
It is your responsibility to ensure your referral is valid.
OUR FEES
Initial Consultation $295 (Medicare rebate $86.15)
Subsequent Consultation $195 (Medicare rebate $43.35)
Subsequent Consultation (which involves full skin examination): $295 (Medicare rebate $43.35)
Total Body Photography $145-295 (No Medicare or PHI rebate)
Confocal Microscopy $345-495 (No Medicare or PHI rebate)
SURGERY
Additional fees for surgery apply.
Our Dermatologists are NO GAP PROVIDERS for HBF and HIF for eligible day procedures.
OUT OF POCKET (GAP) fees apply for all other health funds, ineligible procedures and anaesthetist fees
Excesses or co-payments may apply depending on your chosen private health insurance product.
Bronze, Silver and Gold private health insurance products provide eligible cover for your day surgery.
PRESCRIPTIONS
For existing patients requiring a prescription, this will generally be provided without consultation if you have been seen in the past 3 months and if deemed appropriate by your dermatologist.
Prescription requests when not seen for > 3 months, will generally require a consultation for review to ensure safe prescribing.
A prescription fee of $15 applies. E-prescriptions can be sent to your mobile phone via text message in most cases.
CANCELLATIONS
We request 48 hours notice prior to any cancellation. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment to avoid cancellation fees.
